Branching notes for hard questions

Learn a subject
one branch at a time.

Ask a question and Dendrify answers it as a node. Follow-ups grow as branches, and each branch keeps only the context of its own path. A tangent can't derail the main thread.

How a tree grows

  1. 01

    Ask one question

Plain language is fine. No prompt engineering needed.

  2. 02

    Branch on what's unclear

Pick a suggested follow-up or write your own. Each becomes a child node that inherits its parent's context.

  3. 03

    Mark your progress

Tag nodes as unexplored, learning, mastered or stuck. The tree becomes a map of what you know.

02

What it does differently

Three decisions shape the product.

Context follows the path
A node sees the questions and answers above it, and nothing from sibling branches. Follow-ups stay precise without you restating the background.
Branches stay separate
Open three angles on the same idea and each one runs as its own conversation. Compare them side by side, then return to any of them later.
The outline is the interface
The tree shows what you've covered, what's still open and where you got stuck. Mark each node as you go.

Why it exists

I kept losing my place in long AI chats. Every tangent muddied the thread. Dendrify is the tool I wanted: every question gets its own place, and the answers stay focused.
